PreK: Essential Instructional Practices in Early Mathematics

The The Essential Instructional Practices in Early Mathematics: Prekindergarten to Grade 5 identifies a set of research supported instructional practices with significant potential to positively affect children's learning of mathematics and the development of their mathematical identities. This training aims to empower participants to reflect on their own connections to mathematics content in their work, providing an opportunity to learn about the intricacies and complexities of early mathematics. The training will build capacity in its participants for more robust mathematical knowledge and skills for delivering that knowledge to their audiences. Participants will walk out with the resources needed (slides, documents, videos ...) to support their audiences in learning the content.
